Overview

The Canoe Lake trip is a perfect four-hour guided trip for people on a tighter time schedule. This thoroughly enjoyable wilderness paddling experience includes all necessary equipment and the services of an experienced and knowledgeable guide. Our guide will teach you basic paddling skills so you can easily enjoy a few hours learning about Tom Thomson and the Group of Seven and the historic village of Mowat.

After meeting at our Canoe Lake store your guide will provide basic paddling information and go over safety precautions before helping everyone aboard their canoes. The next 4 hours are spent paddling the lake and learning about its rich history.

Day 1:

Algonquin Outfitters offers a variety of day trips, starting from Oxtongue Lake, Canoe Lake, or Lake Opeongo. Both self-guided and guided options are available. Or switch gears and head to our Lake of Two Rivers Store for an easy bike ride with family or friends.

Dates & Packages

Guided Canoe Lake Day Trip

A four hour on the water experience that includes a canoe or kayak, paddles, safety equipment, life jacket, and the services of one of our guides. We suggest you bring your camera.
Rates are based on a minimum of two to a maximum of eight members, the charge for the services of a guide are included.

Rates are per person, including guide fees. Tax is extra.
