Opasqua Provincial Park is one of the most remote and least traveled areas in North America. There you will have a secluded wilderness paradise all to yourself. At Big Hook Wilderness Camp we offer Canoe rentals by the day, and the opportunity to stay at the most remote fly-in housekeeping outpost cabins in all of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. Avoid the crowds and enjoy an entire classic Canadian shield lake to yourself.

Escape To Unspoiled Wilderness - Opasquia Provincial Park

Fly-in air transportation to and from Red Lake, ON. 15 hp Yamaha motors, gas, fishing nets, paddles, life jackets, & boat seats. 14 or 16 ft. Lund boats. Comfortable cabins equipped with satellite communications, solar or generator power, hot/cold running water, showers, refrigerator, chest freezer, 4 burner stove/oven, wood heating stoves, firewood, two or more bedrooms, and screened porch. All cooking & eating utensils. Beds with foam mattress and pillows. Propane grill and fish cooker. Float plane camp checks. Staple foods: canned beans/fruits/vegetables, potatoes, onions, pancake mix, syrup, powdered juice, jelly, sugar, ketchup, mustard, dry soup mix, salt and pepper, cooking oil, scouring pads, dishwashing soap, toilet paper, and ice.
Guiding Services: Central Lake @ $250.00/per day. West, Cocos, Burnt, Southwest, or South @ $300.00 per day.
