Meeting Place
San Carlos de Bariloche Airport
San Carlos de Bariloche, Rio Negro
Fly into San Carlos de Bariloche, then 45 minute drive to first lodge in the heart of Nahuel Huapi National Park for lunch and the day's adventures. Lodge based adventures through day 4. Paddle to next lodge Hotel Tronador for additional activities and adventures.
Day 1:
Arrive at the airport and take a 45minute scenic drive to first lodge in the Nahuel Huapi National Park on Lago Mascardi. Lunch and Argentine wine or microbrew then off to horseback riding, or another activity. End the day for cocktails and meals around the fireplace.
Day 2:
Early breakfast then short shuttle to the river base for Class II or Class III-IV whitewater rafting on the Manso River. Fun rapids, great scenery, and a plentiful lunch. Return to the lodge for a siesta, a hike,or cast a line for trout before another group dinner with educational wine tasting.
Day 3:
Breakfast then kayaking or stand up paddleboards on the pristine lake and treeking throuh a Nothofagus centenary forest while soaking in the views. Recharge at lunch, add an optional massage, before heading to city of Bariloche for dinner. Dine, shop, drink, and enjoy the local culture.
Day 4:
Sleep in, homemade pastries and jams, then more kayaking from Mascardi Lodge to Hotel Tranador, while staff transport your luggage. Afternoon optional activity of horseback, hiking or a fly fishing lesson before dinner.
Day 5:
Many activity options from full day hike to the peaks of the Andean Range through scenic old growth forests and dramatic views alpine views of the glacier and peaks of Cerro Tronador. Enjoy a massage, rest or cocktails befoe dinner. Shorter hikes, horseback rides, and kayaking also available.
Day 6:
Today is the day to do all the things you’ve not been able to do yet! Hike fish. ride, go for a boat ride, kayak or challenge another stretch of the Manso River, the choices are yours. Tonight we’ll celebrate in style as we reminisce over this exciting week of adventure and culture.
Day 7:
There should be time to take in a morning activity and enjoy the last views and beauty of the Nahuel Huapi National Park before transferring to the airport. Fly to Buenos Aires, El Calafate or transfer to Chile for our Lakes District Multi-sport or a Futaleufu rafting experience.
