Overview

The Teen Adventure program is suitable for intermediate/advanced youth with a focus on leadership development, whitewater rescue, whitewater canoeing and wilderness camping skills.
Youth develop or strengthen their abilities to read both map and river, safely navigating multi-class rapids. They learn whitewater rescue techniques with hands-on practice, and build skills to take turns co-leading the trip! Learning to plan and lead trips is paramount for youth employment skills - from summer job to long-term career. This adventure encourages self-regulation, builds confidence, and often creates lasting connections. It emphasizes personal initiative both on and off the water.
