Itinerary
Meeting Place

Day 1:
ravel from Stone Harbor to the Sag landing (we have coffee and donuts for the drive). Your guide provides a preliminary paddling lesson for anyone who needs it and then you are off! This is a light paddling day, which gives you time to set up camp north of Sag Corridor.
Day 2:
Explore Saganaga by kayak, hopscotching around the islands or exploring Devil Walk Bay or Red Rock Bay. Tonight you are camping in the western part of Saganaga.
Day 3:
We spend the day kayaking the far west end of Saganaga, looping into the lakes that can be reached without portaging or dropping down into Red Rock Bay. Then it’s another night of swimming, dinner and relaxing.
Day 4:
Paddle back to the Sag landing, seeking the islands or bays we missed on Day 2. After we load up the van and trailer, we head back to Grand Marais and arrive at Stone Harbor by 5:00.
