Day 1:
At 8:45 a.m., participants meet their guide at North Island Kayak's Telegraph Cove location for a Johnstone Strait kayaking adventure. After onshore orientations, they launch, stopping for a beach picnic in the early afternoon. By mid-afternoon, arrive and set yourself up at camp!
Day 2:
Begin your day with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a hearty breakfast served between 7 and 8 a.m., leaving ample time for relaxation and organization. The return route will be weather-dependent, with a focus on group preferences and potential wildlife sightings.
Day 3:
After the kayaks are packed, you will slowly start the journey home. The route will vary depending on the weather forecast, but our focus will remain on wildlife viewing. Your group will return to the cove by 3:30 p.m.
What Guests Are Saying
Such an amazing trip!! Marc and Tristan were our guides and were awesome hosts. The camps we stayed at were lovely, and the lookout at our second site had a great view of whales and SO MANY porpoises going by. The food was top-notch as well. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking to explore the North Island!
