Overview

If you are looking to grow in your rowing capabilities or gain experience on the river, consider joining ROW’s Whitewater ROWing School. You’ll gain leadership skills for on and off the water, mixed with a healthy dose of adventure. You’ll explore the Deschutes, Lower Salmon, or Rogue River with highly experienced guides while practicing whitewater safety, technical maneuvering, and basic rowing technique.
You’ll be learning alongside other eager rowers and have time create community amongst each other while camping and participating in off river activities. In the evenings at camp, there will be working sessions to learn self rescue technique, understanding ferry and drive angles, and how to pack your boat for a multi-day river trip. This comprehensive, thoughtful, and hands-on-course is built for a small class size with individuals who enjoy working in small group settings in addition to one-on-one trainings. If you’re looking to grow your personal boating skills, explore a new river, or meet some like-minded people, consider joining ROW’s Whitewater ROWing School!
