Quatre Natures

Company in the Quebec City region, specializing in adventure tourism. Quatre Natures offers you unique outdoor experiences to discover Quebec’s hidden and little-known attractions.

Overview

Located on the eastern edge of Lake Huron, Georgian Bay is a vast inland sea and a dream location for kayakers of all skill levels. Thanks to its shallowness in places, some 30,000 islets and archipelagos emerge from the fresh waters of the bay, transforming it into a paradise for swimming and exploring Georgian Bay by kayak.
In the background of our days: wild nature, islands and more islands, century-old pines sculpted by the wind and small steep-sided bays. Our kayaking journey north of Georgian Bay begins in the Britt/Byng Inlet area. We will travel to the northwest of the bay and explore this coast which is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. We will paddle around Churchill, Cunningham, Roger Islands and many more. Then we will stop on the North-West route of the Coureurs des Bois and voyageurs during the great period of the fur trade, at the mouth of the delta of the famous French River. You will understand why Georgian Bay was the favorite place of certain painters of the Group of Seven! Our trip will be accompanied by a yoga practice in nature. One or two sessions per day will be offered to complement the physical and contemplative activity of kayaking. We offer sequences of movements (asanas) suitable for beginners and more advanced yogis.
