Overview

Browns' Clearwater West Lodge offers a four-season, drive-in wilderness retreat adjacent to the Turtle River White Otter Wilderness Park. Being the only lodge on Clearwater West Lake we know we can offer you a vacation of a lifetime. We offer a range of packages with cottages, boat-in chalets, portage-in & fly-in outposts & campgrounds. Enjoy fishing, hunting, boating, canoeing, ice fishing, snowmobiling, and eco-touring.

The Clearwater West and White Otter Wilderness Area have many lakes not fished by the season. Be the first one there on any given day. Enjoy fishing a different lake each day, with as many as 40 lakes to choose from. Seeking solitude, peace and tranquility? Enjoy canoeing through the pristine Turtle River - White Otter Waterway Park or visit the famed White Otter Castle and uncover the mysteries of builder Jimmy “Hightop” McQuat. Discover Native pictographs, P.O.W. camps and frontier logging sites. Fish daily from your cottage or on approximately 35 to 40 different lakes. Definitely a fisherman's paradise we are open all year for your vacation needs. Visit our magnificent natural "Caribbean Beach of the North". We also offer packages for big or small game hunts.
