Pre-Trip Meeting: Grillhouse Restaurant - Westview
Tahsis, British Columbia
Day 1:
Meet your guides at the Tahsis Municipal Dock at 8:30am. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll grab your bags and jump aboard our water taxi for a scenic 1hr boat journey through the mountainous landscape to your first campsite.
Day 2:
You’ll begin the day with a delicious breakfast, prepared by your multi-talented guides. The plan and route for the day will depend on weather conditions and the group’s desires. You’ll break camp, jump into your kayak and spend the day exploring the picturesque islands, beaches.
Day 3:
Waking up somewhere completely new to you, it's time to explore a different shoreline, encountering sea caves, sea stacks and rugged windswept beaches that west coast Vancouver Island is so well known for.
Day 4:
Visit a stunning waterfall cascading into the ocean, paddle around secluded tidal lagoons and watch sea otters bobbing in the swell. No matter where you look, there is always something beautiful to take in.
Day 5:
Onto a new spot! Campsites are plentiful and scenically situated on sandy beaches, grassy knolls or beneath towering ancient forests. After a hearty dinner, you can relax and watch a famous west coast sunset for the last time.
Day 6:
Your final day will begin with a magical morning paddle. At 10am, you’ll meet our water taxi at your end destination, which will transport the group and all the gear, back to your start point in Tahsis.
