Overview
Discover the joys of kayaking in our summer-long program for 12-18 year olds. Have fun and learn with like-minded peers, as we foster confidence and appreciation for paddlesports and the outdoors. Beginners progress gradually, while experienced participants develop intermediate skills, gaining boat control, efficient river paddling techniques, rolling practice, and basic river safety.
By the end of the season (15 x evening sessions and 3 x full days), participants can expect to have good boat control in up to Class II whitewater. They will also have further developed techniques for efficient river paddling, lots of rolling practice and some basic river safety skills under their belt.
