Our focus is on silent sports: specifically sea kayaking, canoeing, Voyageur Canoe, and hiking. Our base includes Rock Island Lodge B&B, great certified sea kayak skills, instructor and guide training programs, sea kayak and canoe rentals, shuttles and more. Overview
Our paddling centre at the junction of the Michipicoten River and Lake Superior. Where the river flows into Lake Superior, you’ll discover the challenges and rewards of paddling in moving water, including eddies and standing waves—similar to conditions experienced in tidal areas. These dynamic waters create ideal conditions for intermediate- to advanced-level sea kayak training.
