Aquabatics is an amazing organization. Their instructors are super friendly, very knowledgeable and they go out of their way to meet the needs of every participant. They are well recognized for their on water safety and their ability to break things down in a fun and understandable way. Definitely recommend them for any instruction program!
I took the Intro to River Kayaking and also the Beyond the Intro courses from Aquabatics a few years back. My experience with both of these courses was that the instructors were absolutely fantastic. They focused on meeting the individual paddling goals and learning needs for each participant. The ratio of instructor to student was great and everyone was able to get the needed individual focus they wanted. Instructors were very personable and everyone had a blast while learning in a way that addressed safety and appropriate challenge. For me when the challenge was accomplished, there was celebration and a sense of accomplishment. Following the course, there were suggestions about what skills to focus on, drills to practice and groups to paddle with. I've maintained a relationship with Aquabatics since taking the course and their dedicated commitment to the paddling community and individuals who love paddling is outstanding!
