Fort Simpson, NWT
Overnight in Fort Simpson, with a morning shuttle to the float plane docks for a scenic flight to Rabbitkettle Lake to camp. Days 3 - 14 paddle, hike and portage down the Nahanni River to the Mackenzie River, with extra time to enjoy iconic Virgina Falls. Motorboat shuttle back to Fort Simpson.

Accommodation (double occupancy)
• 12 nights wilderness camping
• 2 nights accommodation in Fort Simpson (Day 1 & Day 14)
Canoeing Equipment
• expedition canoes with spray decks and knee pads
• paddles, PFDs, throw bags
• paddling helmets, paddling suits (semi-dry)
Camping Equipment
• tents: free-standing expedition dome tents - 2 per tent
• "kitchen": tarp, firebox, cooking stoves, utensils, dishes, etc.
• containers for food and group equipment
Safety Equipment
• first aid, safety, river rescue, and repair kits
• communications equipment (satellite phone)
Travel Included:
• charter float plane flight from Fort Simpson to Rabbitkettle Lake (Gahnįhthah Mie) - Day 1
• motorboat shuttle of group and gear from our take out on the Liard River back to Fort Simpson - Day 14
• ground transfers between Fort Simpson Airport, hotel and Black Feather Base /float plane docks on Days 1, 2 and 14, 15
• transportation of guides, group gear, food etc. to Fort Simpson
