For over 60 years, Churchill River Canoe Outifitters continues to offer guided and self-guided canoe trips, canoe rentals, canoe clinics and courses, canoe route maps, and much more. Churchill River Canoe Outfitters (CRCO) is located in Missinipe, Saskatchewan, on the Churchill River, 80km north of La Ronge in the heart of the Precambrian Shield.

These guys did an amazing job on our canoe trip. We were gone for 7 days and the route, the food and the maps were top class! We saw 4 black bears, 4 moose (one with a calf), bald eagles and much more. Highly recommend this outfitter.

Company History

In 1959, four partners leased the property that CRCO is now on. That first summer, 1959 they built the Fox Den and the office. They called this new place Pawistic Lodge. In the summer of 1960 they build the Lodge and the old Log Cabin. 1960 was their first summer of operation.....
