On land, there are walks through ancient forests, swims in fresh water lakes and tide pools to explore. The Discovery Islands host abundant wildlife including sea lions, seals, pacific white-sided dolphins, otters, colourful birds and some of the largest starfish and clams in the world. Playful seals and seal pups often approach sea kayaks. Even transient Orcas and Humpback Whales have at times been spotted during this trip.
