Join us as we embark on a journey filled with gentle whitewater, scenic landscapes, and quality family time. Each day brings new opportunities to explore, with minimal portages and plenty of fun on the water. The Noire offers a smooth progression of whitewater, ideal for paddlers to build their skills. Our 5-day family adventure covers 53 km of Class 1 and 2 rapids, with easy camping, short paddling days and plenty of time to swim, and relax on beautiful beach campsites.
On our final morning, we paddle an exciting stretch of continuous Class 1 rapids to the historic Black River Inn, where we enjoy a celebratory lunch before heading home, wrapping up an unforgettable adventure. The Noire River flows 238 km through stunning Canadian Shield terrain, offering sandy beaches and a true wilderness feel.

Waltham, Québec
Meet on Day 1 to repack your gear into watertight barrels, then take a van shuttle to the river. Paddle downriver over the next 4 days until you reach the take-out location where our vehicles await.
