Meeting Place
Norman Wells, NWT
Meet at Norman Wells and transfer to the float plane base to fly to O'Grady Lake on the Natla River. Days 2 - 7 paddle 120 km of exciting rapids dropping over 600m. Day 8, join the Keele to paddle 300 km dropping over 400m to the Mackenzie River. Day 18 motor boat shuttle back to Norman Wells.

Canoeing Equipment
• expedition canoes with spray decks and knee pads

• paddling helmets, paddling suits (semi-dry)

• tents: free-standing, custom expedition dome tents - 2 per tent
• "kitchen": tarp, firebox, cooking stoves, utensils, dishes, etc.

- Ground transfer between Norman Wells Airport and Black Feather Base / float plane docks - Day 1
- Charter float plane flight from Norman Wells to O'Grady Lake – Day 1
- Charter boat shuttle of group and gear from the mouth of the Keele River to Norman Wells - Day 18
- Ground transfer between hotel to Norman Wells Airport - Day 19
- Transportation of guides, group gear, food, etc. to Norman Wells
