MHO Adventures
All Inclusive Backcountry Canoe Trips & Wilderness Guide Training
Overview
Explore the beauty of the Noire River on our unforgettable paddling adventure! The Noire River winds through the forests of Western Québec until it reaches the Ottawa River near the town of Waltham. Our paddling adventure brings us through a 63km section of river with the least amount of portages and the most amount of fun Class 1 and 2 rapids.
Our expert guides will teach you essential paddling strokes and maneuvers to navigate the thrilling rapids safely. They’ll also help you understand how to read the rapids, giving you the skills and confidence to tackle them with ease. The final day of expedition sees us paddle a 13km section of river with continuous Class 1 rapids making it a fun and quick ride to the take out point.
With huge sandy beach campsites on every bend of this meandering river, we have endless options of where to set up camp for the night. Short days and sandy beaches allow for easy camping and time to swim, read, play in the rapids and simply enjoy time in the wilderness.
