Day 3:

Experience a day full of environmental education learning about nearby flora and fauna. We’ll venture through Zapata National Park and the remaining Zapata Peninsula. We’ll learn about the tropical ecosystem we’re paddling through and have time to snorkel amongst the coral reefs.

Day 4:

Today we’ll explore a botanical garden and tour a museum that showcases much of Cuba’s tumultuous history. We’ll find our way to Trinidad in the afternoon before exploring the town and resting there for the night.

Day 5:

We’ll kayak along the Rio Guaurabo river and admire the views of Trinidad from the water. After paddling the local river, we’ll take a walking tour of historic Trinidad and spend the afternoon learning from local artists on how art, culture, and history intersect in Cuba.

Day 6:

Continuing the adventure, we’ll kayak the Laguna Guanaroca Nature Reserve and arrive in Cienfuegos. Home to some of Cuba’s most distinctive architecture, spend the afternoon exploring the town and culture.

Day 7:

For our last day on the water, we’ll paddle back toward Havana, stopping at museums and monuments along the way. Later in the evening we’ll gather dinner all together at a private restaurant to cheers to the adventure!

Adios Cuba!
